ZM Citerm Multi-Fuel Burners are the multi talented oil burner that can run on multiple oils including waste oil.
Warm air space heater blowers remain the most economical way of heating commercial or industrial workshops, factories, garages, outbuildings or warehouse etc… This is especially so, when run with a ZM Multi-Fuel ‘Waste Oil’ Burner and used with waste oil instead of conventional heating oil or gas burners. ZM also offers a large product range of warm air heater blowers and two pass boilers that are all compatible with the ZM Citerm Multi-Fuel Burners, all specially designed for this purpose, that give you FREE HEAT by using waste oils as a heating fuel.

ZM CITERM MULTIFUEL BURNERS
ZM Citerm’s GP series of multi-fuel ‘waste oil’ burners will burn a wide range of fuels including used engine oils, gear, hydraulic and diesel oils of HBO I, II, III type, Vegetable oils (biofuels), Raw vegetable oils (rapeseed, sunflower, and others), Heating Oil (35 Second Fuel), Diesel & Red Diesel and Paraffin/Kerosene (28 Second Fuel).
We have supplied for a number of years the ZM Citerm Burners and they have proven to be tough and very reliable. They work on the same principle as many other burners. Combustion is achieved through the control of primary air flow, secondary air flow and oil preheat temperature. All of these can be adjusted very easily to suit the application and fuel that is being used.
Used oil is typically preheated to reduce the viscosity then drawn through the delavan nozzles with compressed air and atomised into a fine spray where it is ignited by sparks from the electrodes on start up. A constant flame is maintained by the ‘swirl’ of the oil spray in front of the burner.
The range includes 5 models the G2p, G2p+, G3p, G3p+ and G4p+ the numbers denote the number of nozzles and the “+” simply shows that higher flow 30609-49 nozzles are fitted instead of DA-2 nozzles. It is also possible to downrate these burners with DA-1.5 or 30609-11 nozzles. This can be done to improve combustion at lower outputs or to improve running on low viscosity fuels like red diesel.
ZM Heaters are the exclusive distributors of these Citerm Burners and these are supplied complete with a high capacity washable filter and supply hoses to give you everything you need straight out of the box.

How it works?
Fuel is pulled from the storage tank by pump into burner tank. A floating switch regulates the oil level in the burner tank, in the event of overfilling an additional floating micro switch along with a limit switch would indicate “malfunction” if this were to occur. A contact switch trips the burner in case of overflow in the tank and a thermostat regulates the oil temperature in the burner tank and switches the burner on automatically as soon as the regulated temperature is reached. An additional overheat thermostat prevents overheating or malfunctioning, the burner control box (SIEMENS LOA 24) also checks the entire procedure.
A special nozzle draws the fuel, by using the passing compressed air, which serves as primary air for the combustion, and atomizes it. The combustion fan delivers secondary air that is mixed with the spray mist at the flame ring. Thereby a perfect combustion and safe operating are guaranteed.
ZM GP CITERM burners are designed to burn: Vegetable oil, used crankcase oil, hydraulic and transmission oils, Extra light fuel oils, light and medium fuel oils, other flammable liquids…
The patented technology ensures the combustion of waste oil regardless of its viscosity or flash point. The antechamber heats all the oils to a temperature where they reach the same viscosity. The oil is sprayed with compressed air at a relatively low pressure. This enables the use of larger nozzles that do not clog even when using fertilizer or semi-liquid oil.
