ZMH Šukoplam Vent Solid Fuel and Pellet Biomass Boiler 110kW (375,300 BTU)

Sukom Solid Fuel Boilers are the trusted choice for homeowners, farmers, and businesses looking to switch to an eco-friendly, cost-effective biomass heating system. Built for performance, durability, and efficiency, these advanced gasification boilers offer powerful heating while helping you cut carbon emissions and fuel costs.

The Šukoplam VENT boiler, with a power range of 90-110kW, these superb boilers are essentially enhanced versions of the robust and reliable Šukoplam LUX series. This adaptation involves modifying the standard boiler to accommodate the burning of chunk solid fuels and grain biomass, such as pellets, fruit stones, and coal with a maximum granulation of 8mm. The combustion of grain biomass is fully automated.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

ZMH Šukoplam Vent Solid Fuel and Pellet Biomass Boiler 110kW (377,300 BTU)

The Šukoplam VENT Solid Fuel Boilers are available in a choice of power ranges from 25-110kW and are in essence modified boilers of Šukoplam LUX family. This modification is done in adapting the standard boiler for combustion of solid fuel and grain biomass (pellet, fruit stones, coals with maximum granulation of 8mm). Combustion of grain biomass is done completely automatically.

The boiler is designed as a “three drafted” system, featuring two water-cooled chambers and flue pipes, ensuring that the combustion products flow through the water area three times to optimize heat exchange. The firebox of the boiler is divided into two sections: the front section is for burning chunk solid fuel, while the back section contains a fluidisation chamber for burning grain biomass. Chunk solid fuel is loaded through a central door, whereas grain biomass is introduced via a screw conveyor located on the side of the boiler. The grain biomass is stored in a fuel storage tank underneath the boiler, and a rotational dosage mechanism with a screw conveyor transports the fuel to the fluidisation chamber. The capacity of the fuel storage tank is designed to meet the boiler’s daily requirements. The ignition of the grain biomass is fully automated, facilitated by an electric igniter.

For the combustion of grain biomass, primary air fans are employed, selected to provide sufficient fresh air for both combustion and fuel fluidisation. The primary combustion air is split in the fluidisation chamber into primary and secondary air, with some primary air directed to the screw conveyor to prevent flame backflow into the fuel storage tank. Air for the chunk solid fuel combustion enters through a flap on the lower boiler door, with its volume controlled by a draft regulator. In this scenario, only the exhaust fumes fan operates while the primary air fans are inactive.

By incorporating a sediment chamber and exhaust fumes fan, the boiler maintains a state of under pressure, reducing the risk of flame return to the fuel storage tank and the middle boiler door. Additionally, the installation of turbulators in the flue pipes can enhance boiler efficiency by 7-10%. An automatic controller, utilizing input parameters such as water temperature, flue gas temperature, and room temperature, regulates output devices (fans, igniter, screw conveyor) to maintain optimal boiler operation. The boiler body is well-insulated with mineral wool, and the exterior is protected through painting or powder coating.

The boiler is designed to produce hot water under operating conditions of 110/90ºC and 90/70ºC, with a maximum allowable working pressure of 2.5 bar. Protection against excessive pressure is provided by a safety valve installed in the appropriate location on the boiler, while a safety heat exchanger is in place to cool the boiler if necessary, safeguarding it from high temperatures.
