ICI Caldaie Premium Efficiency Three Pass Hot Water Boilers
A complete range of floor standing LPHW heating boilers with an operating temperature between 60° and 100°C. Fabricated from carbon steel and for use with forced draft (pressure jet) burners, these boilers are designed and manufactured to meet current European directives for high efficiency and low emissions.
Extremely High Efficiency – thanks to the large exchange surfaces allowing top efficiency values under all operating conditions. The REX F & REX ranges of three pass reverse flame horizontal fire tube boilers are suitable for use on gaseous and liquid fuels, with output range from 70kW to 6000kW.
Boilers Features:
- Maximum Operating Flexibility – thanks to the very high-water content and the very high thermal inertia, making them suitable for even the most difficult operating conditions.
- High Reliability in Continuous Operation – with construction features such to make them particularly suitable to high working loads and long working periods.
- Maximum Security – designed in accordance with the strictest international safety regulations.
- Net efficiency levels of ≈95% across the whole operating range for the REX F under gaseous fuels (Rated 3 star according to European Directive 92/42/CEE).
- Net efficiency levels of ≈92% across the whole operating range for the REX range under liquid fuels (Rated 2 star according to European Directive 92/42/CEE)
- Design pressure as standard 5bar, with up to 25bar upon request.

FEATURES
ZM ICI Caldaie Commercial Boilers are steel boilers with high efficiency, have EU CE approvals and are ideal for heating medium-large facilities. Specially designed to work with gas, oil, and Multi-Fuel ‘waste oil’ fan burners. ICI Caldaie Boilers present solutions aimed at reducing the condensation of acidic compounds or preventing their negative effects. It is these solutions that make our boilers work perfectly with various burners including the multi-fuel waste oil burners.
The special form of the combustion chamber and heat exchanger structure guarantee high boiler efficiency,and as a result operational savings.
By reducing the amount of heat lost to the outside, the boiler efficiency can be additionally increased, the reduction of these losses is achieved through the unique insulation of the combustion chamber.
In order to reduce the flue gas temperature, optimal dimensions of the heat exchange surface have been designed, and thanks to the use of flue gas swirling technology, the speed of flue gas outflow into the chimney is optimized.
