ZM City & Guilds Refrigerant Handling Course 7543-01

The module is an assessment of the candidate’s competence and ability to operate Recovery Equipment and have a good understanding of fluorinated greenhouse gases and the environmental impact.
Prior to the assessment the candidate will need a minimum skills level and knowledge of the following:

  • The function and layout of a vehicle air conditioning system
  • Correct use of air conditioning service equipment and service tools
  • Environmental implications, ozone depletion and global warming
  • The safe transfer, waste disposal and recycling of refrigerants

Candidates will be issued with a study book, which will need to be read prior the refrigerant Handling Assessment. On successful completion of the City and Guilds module, candidates will receive their certificate, and this will be a licence for life (unless Legislation changes).

  • Assessments are carried out at customer premises.

How it Works…

You will need to download and complete the FGAS Registration form we send over and Email this back.

A self-study booklet will be sent to each candidate, containing the required underpinning knowledge to pass the assessment.

After approximately 10 working days an assessor will contact you to arrange a date and time to carry out the assessment(s)
